A special issue dedicated on borates in the Zeitschrift für Kristallographie is planned for the next year.
The purpose of this special issue is to provide a broad overview of the status and perspectives in the field of borates.
Submissions are therefore encouraged from all areas of crystallography, chemistry, mineralogy, physics, and materials science.
Submissions can be research reports or reviews of specific aspects of borates. Submissions of papers that are tutorial in nature are strongly encouraged, but all submissions must be written in a style that is easy accessible to all crystallographers and other potential readers.
