Postdoctoral position in Computational Mineral Physics

A postdoctoral position is available within the Computational Group of the Nanochemistry Research Institute to investigate relationships between hydrogen impurity distribution and extended defects in forsterite (Mg2SiO4).

The position is part of a collaborative project between the Nanochemistry Research Institute and TheInstitute for Geoscience Research, both Tier 1 research institutes within Curtin University of Technology.
Duration: 2 years.

Location: Nanochemistry Research Institute, Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Western Australia.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a PhD in mineral physics, solid state chemistry or physics and have experience of ab initio and/or classical solid state modelling methods.
