News MSc or PhD Opportunities in Mantle Petrology

We invite applications for MSc and PhD students at the University of British Columbia, Department of Earth and Ocean Sciences, Vancouver, Canada beginning January 2009 or earlier.

A number of fully-funded projects in petrology of diamond-bearing rocks and mineralogy of natural diamonds are available for students interested in addressing processes of diamond formation through the study of mineral and fluid inclusions in diamonds and petrology of diamondiferous xenoliths and volcanic rocks.
